Children & Youth

Hope Splashers (K-5th Grades)

Hope Splashers meet on Sundays from 5:00 to 6:45 pm during the school year for a lesson, music and fun. Special activities as well as ministries to shut-ins are planned throughout the year.

United Methodist Youth Fellowship  (UMYF)

UMYF is an organization of 6th – 12th graders that meets Sunday evenings from 5:00 to 7:00 pm for dinner and fellowship. The youth do service projects, go on retreats, participate in Worship Services, and go on special mission work teams – such as Carolina Cross Connection.

Scouting

New Hope is very active in the Scouting program with a Boy Scout troop and a Sea Scout Ship. Character building, service to God, family, church and country are the hallmarks of scouting.

Vacation Bible School (VBS)

Vacation Bible School happens each summer at New Hope. The children enjoy a light meal, Bible stories, crafts, games, singing, and fun activities for age 4 (potty trained) to youth.

Sunday (Church) School

Begins at 9:45 am each Sunday and offers learning opportunities for all ages.
